Rhode Island School for the Deaf’s athletic program encourages students, parents, staff, and the adult deaf community to become active participants as team members or spectators thus promoting a high level of school morale and spirit. We recognize that competition and tournaments contribute greatly to the social development of the deaf and hard of hearing.
