Your project begins with the one-on-one session. You will meet your designer. You will go about the scope of work, priorities, and have an in-depth discussion of design at this meeting.
The cost depends on the amount of time used to design and custom develop your project. We offer business-specific products to help keep the cost as minimal as possible, but custom design and/or development work is billed accordingly.
We build all of our websites on a Content Management System, also known as a CMS which varies from WordPress, Drupal, Magneto, OpenCart, Joomla, and more. This allows you to make updates to your site without having to know any sort of coding language.
Though we enjoy partnering with local companies, we are currently working with companies around the country and are able to accommodate them. Throughout the process, our team is happy to jump on phone calls, video chats, and screen shares so that we can interface the best we can with your team.
Blue Spot Designs will then create a timeline for your project at the start of the project based on your goal and create benchmarks for each object. In the course of time, they give your team memories and change the schedule as necessary.
Your launch date will be contingent on your website's complexity. Depending on the willingness of our client to provide input, material, and the overall complexity of the building, our usual turnaround is about 1-2 months.
Blue Spot Designs would be able to work with you to set up a timetable to accomplish it if you have a clear start date in mind.
All of our sites are built with best practices and without bloated code, optimizing it for Search Engines. We also like to include SEO Audits in all of our website projects.
Yes! To help develop a professional template for your website, Blue Spot Designs can use a combination of stock imagery and images/graphics that relate to your company or industry.
We're also happy to provide some awesome photographers with creative direction and contact details.
We are happy to bring a copywriter in touch with you if you find it difficult for you to compose your own contents. We are glad to be versatile, you may have somebody to support you on your whole website or on just a few pages.
The turnaround time for a logo from sales to completion is typically 2-3 weeks, subject to the workload which will be discussed before any payments are made. Timescales are also dependent on response time, and any additional changes to designs.
Following the design phase, you will be presented with 3 logo options based upon agreed objectives. Once final payment has been made, you will own the copyright to the final agreed design.
That's no problem at all.
When the first set of designs are presented to you I will explain why design decisions have been made. At this point you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and request modifications if required.
You can request as many changes as you want, however up to 4 revision rounds are included within the typical project scope. In the unlikely event that additional revisions are required beyond this, they will be charged at a cost of $30 per revision round, and will be added onto the final invoice.
On completion of the logo design project, and once payment has been made, the copyright for the final agreed logo is automatically transferred to you. If needed I can also provide a copyright transfer document to give comfort that the copyright has been transferred.
We'll jump on a call, and we'll work together to establish what's not working, why, and we'll work out a direction so we can proceed with the project.
It's worth noting that the designs presented to you will be based on goals agreed with you before the design phase begins. This will include information about your business, competition and target audience. It will also include any specific requirements or expectations you may have, so this is an unlikely scenario.
Once your logo design is completed I will supply a comprehensive kit of files to allow the use of the logo across various mediums. Below is a summary of what I will provide:
CMYK version – Full colour printing is made up of only 4 colours: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. These 4 colours mix together to build up any images you can imagine. You will need this format when you require printed material that displays full colour images on the same page. Provided in Vector (Ai/PDF/EPS) format.
Pure black version – Like it says, this version is pure black version of your logo. This is ideal for black and white, or single colour documents. Provided in Vector (Ai/PDF/EPS) format.
Pure white knockout – Want to use your logo over a dark photo, or on a solid dark colour? A white version solves colour and visibility issues to give the best result. Provided in Vector (Ai/PDF/EPS) format.
RGB version – Unlike print colours, screen colours are made up of Red, Green and Blue, mixing the light of each colour to make up the full colour spectrum. Your logo will be provided as an optimised Jpeg file format, and transparent PNG, as well as SVG, which is a vector version for digital use.
Favicon – A 32 x 32 favicon of your logo will be created for use on your website.
Copyright Ownership – I will transfer copyright ownership of the final agreed logo.
A PDF User Guideline Document – A document explaining how to use the logo files.
